Liquid transportation fuels and the creation of a new renewable fuels industry sector touch stakeholders and a variety of different audiences in different ways.  The Biofuels Center tailors its outreach to best meet the varying needs of groups as closely as possible.  


The Center is staffed with subject-matter specialists selected to enable the Center to connect the various elements along the value chain as far as possible.  For example, our Director of Farming, regularly speaks at Agricultural Extension meetings, to 4H students, and mans a booth at events like the Southern Farm Show.  The same is true in areas like the environment, forestry, policy, industry, etc.  Other ways in which the Center reaches out include:

Events and conferences - Biofuels Center staff attend or have booths at targeted events such as the Sustainable Energy Conference, Military Business Conference, the Fuel Ethanol Workshop, and others.
