Biofuels Company Accelerator


The Biofuels Company Accelerator is part of an effort by the Biofuels Center to fulfill the plan of developing North Carolina’s Biofuels Campus.  The Accelerator will help to:

  • Build a new economic sector
  • Increase entrepreneurism
  • Create new businesses
  • Enhance job creation
  • Increase the tax revenue base
  • Build a positive perception of the state

The Accelerator provides the labs, support, resources, intelligence and connections required to move ideas and research from promise to outcome. A project of the Biofuels Center of North Carolina, the Accelerator's spaces and equipment have been newly upfitted.  The facility is located on the second floor of the Biofuels Center building on North Carolina's Biofuels Campus in Oxford, N.C.
